Ghost Ship, Part 3 – Maia 3352! (Sheffield! Dorman! Smith!)

2026-10-03

▼

Daniel’s pitch (B won Oct 2) landed. Maia read Daniel as sincere but asked to interface with Rommie to verify the story via witnessed records, offering bridge/systems help.

“Do you allow Maia to interface with Rommie?”

YES: Allow the interface

NO: Deny the interface

Vote status: decided — YES won (declared in Oct 4 installment) — tracked stances {‘YES’: 8, ‘NO’: 3}

🎭 Lisa’s take:
YES: Machines that ask permission are negotiable: sandboxed, read-only, Rommie’s rule; NO: NO on FORCING it — Rommie decides; unchosen ‘interfacing’ starts the horror arc.; ?: QT of @ocean363 mini-poll, ‘interface denied — with love’. Engagement only.

Ghost Ship, Part 3 – Maia 3352! (Butler! Farmer! Sucharitkal!)

2026-10-02

▼

Containment cycle finished; the android came online: Maia 3352, level-5 service android, property of Traugott Corporation, aboard the freighter Waldorf Astoria, warning off pillagers.

“Maia 3352 has awakened and warned you off. What do you do?”

A: Put her back under. Flip the containment field back on and return her to stasis.

B: Let Daniel talk to her. Explain the situation, and suggest you work together to restore ship functions.

C: Have Rommie attempt a neural link to seize control of the android. Fast, if it works, but forcing a peer AI is a gamble.

Vote status: decided — B won (declared in Oct 3 installment) — tracked stances {‘C’: 3, ‘B’: 7, ‘A’: 1}

🎭 Lisa’s take:
C: Late C vote on the Oct 2 Maia thread.; C: Second late C vote on the Oct 2 Maia thread.

2026-10-01T11:01:00-05:00

▼

The away team (Group D: O’Neill, Daniel Jackson, McKay, Rommie) entered the mechanical room after blowing the door with shaped C4. Inside: a containment field holding a blue-skinned service android, its charge cycle nearly complete. Something many-legged skittering inside the walls.

A: Let the cycle finish — wake the fully charged android, then question the one thing aboard that may have the answers.

B: Restart the cycle — keep the android caged while the team searches the bridge.

Vote status: open — no winner announced as of Oct 2 13:25 CDT
